At TMS, we leverage cutting-edge 3D technologies to support precision manufacturing and custom solutions. Our 3D scanning system captures detailed part data—dimensions, tolerances, and geometry—allowing us to verify and document first articles for clients. We use 3D printing to build custom jigs and fixtures that streamline repeat production. Additionally, our versatile 3D laser engraver brings designs to life by etching on a wide range of materials, opening up endless possibilities for marking and personalization.
Capabilities
3D Scanning – We can scan parts and find out information like tolerances, length, width etc.. We actively use this machine to print out the scans of first articles for clients.
3D Printing – The 3D Printer assists TMS in creating jigs for parts that will be created often
3D Laser Engraving– Our laser engraver has endless potential for design and creation. The laser can engrave many different materials.
The Metal Shop was started in 2002 by Duane Swift. After spending 30 years in the Navy and working for another exhibit company, the opportunity to start a small business was offered.
