TMS offers tube laser cutting. With our Mazak Fabri-Gear 150 we can process tubes with a max diameter of 6" in the largest measurement with a length of 26'--be it round, square, rectangular, I Beam, channel, and angle. Materials we can cut are steel, aluminum and stainless steel. Our machine is a true 5 Axis machine, which means it can cut compound angles which are not possible by a standard 2 axis machine.

One way the tube laser shines is the speed and accuracy it can obtain when cutting miter joints. Rather than struggle with the band saw and wearing out blades, the laser can take what took several hours of work and condenses it down to minutes. 

TMS chose to use SigmaTube software to program the machine. It is standout piece of software which makes quick work of assemblies. We can take a complete 3D Model assembly, load it into the software and it will sort and nest the entire assembly in short order. What took days now is done in minutes. It is truly amazing. This alone will speed up the lead time for orders and save you, the customer, the time and headache of calling out each size tube and making sure each end cut is perfect. We do that for you.

Our expertise is with aluminum structures and with the help of SigmaTube we have one of the only machines in the U.S. which is able to take advantage of the software and have the proper conditions to cut most sizes of aluminum tube, round, square or rectangular. We were instrumental in helping them gain the knowledge for the newest version of the software to gain functionality in aluminum tube cutting.
