The metal shop has invested in the future and has two robotic welding stations. We have Panasonic (Miller) Welding Cell. This fully functional cell is used for production jobs where it can out put parts in an accurate and quick fashion. We use primerally for steel welding jobs. As an example, it took a 3 day welding job by hand and can now complete in a 3-4 hours. We also have an ABB Robot with a Fronius Mig welder. This machine can be changed over to various metals from Alum to Stainless to carbon steel. We have also added plasma cutting capabilities to the unit for cutting thicker steel with a bevel which takes advantage of the robots 6 axis movement.
